Local Solutions has published its 2025/26 Impact Report, highlighting the difference made to thousands of people, families and communities across Liverpool City Region and North Wales over the past year.

The report showcases the impact of services delivered across homelessness, social care, unpaid carers, young people, community wellbeing and watersports, while sharing the stories of the people supported by Local Solutions.

Over the last year, Local Solutions:

• Supported 35,486 people
• Delivered 396,620 hours of care
• Welcomed 11,308 participants to Liverpool Watersports Centre
• Generated £32 million in social and economic value

The report demonstrates how Local Solutions continues to support people to live safer, healthier and more connected lives, working alongside individuals and communities to overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes.

Structured around the organisation’s three key missions, the report explores how Local Solutions is:

Ending Homelessness

Supporting people to access safe accommodation, maintain stable housing and move towards greater independence through a range of homelessness and housing services.

Transforming Social Care

Providing high-quality care and support that enables people to remain independent, connected to their communities and in control of their lives.

Empowering Communities

Helping people build confidence, improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and strengthen community connections through a wide range of support services and initiatives.

Alongside headline achievements, the report features personal stories that bring the impact of Local Solutions’ work to life. These include Lucy, who receives homecare support while living with Motor Neurone Disease, and Sian, whose journey through Sunraye helped her build a brighter future.

The report also reflects on a significant year for the organisation, including continued service growth, the opening of Local Solutions’ new headquarters on Boaler Street and the expansion of support reaching more people than ever before.

More than a record of activity, the Impact Report highlights the collective efforts of staff, volunteers, partners and supporters who help create lasting change across the communities Local Solutions serves.
