Lynnie Hinnigan from our Supported Lodgings team appeared on BBC Newsnight to highlight the growing misuse of ketamine among young people – an issue she’s encountered firsthand through her work across Merseyside.

Drawing on her frontline experience, Lynnie spoke openly and compassionately about the risks many vulnerable young people face, including the long-term health impacts of ketamine use and the way it’s often downplayed or glamorised on social media.

She used the platform to call for better education, earlier intervention, and stronger recognition of the risks, particularly for those already experiencing disadvantage or instability.
