Lee has worked in Health Care since 2004, starting off as a volunteer and working his way up through services, eventually managing a portfolio of specialist housing and care in the community departments.
Lee has managed services in regulated environments (NHS+CQC) for the past 8 years and is passionate about helping vulnerable adults.
As Head of Social Care at Local Solutions, Lee supports numerous projects at a high standard to support individuals and communities across the Merseyside and Cheshire Region. Lee has helped transform many services and is proud to have led on multinational initiatives. This includes the development of innovative models of care and implementation of bespoke frameworks, all contributing to outstanding practices. In his spare time he likes to unwind by walking, mountain climbing and DIY.
Colleen is a CIMA qualified Chartered Accountant (ACMA, GGMA) and started with Local Solutions as the Financial Controller in early 2016 and in April 2021 took up her new role as Head of Finance.
Before starting at Local Solutions Colleen worked as a Head of Finance and held senior roles within Public, Private and Not for Profit Organisations.
Outside of Local Solutions Colleen is a Trustee of a Not for Profit anti knife crime foundation and has held Treasurer roles for local Associations.
Andrew joined Local Solutions in 2004 and has worked in a variety of roles within the Human Resources department. Starting in the Recruitment Team he designed and developed recruitment strategies to attract and retain high quality member of staff. After gaining his CIPD management qualification Andrew started to concentrate more on HR practises and developing HR strategies to integrate into Local Solutions.
Andrew was promoted to the Head of People Culture in 2021 and now leads on Human Resources, Health & Safety and Learning Development. He is currently studying his CIPD Advanced Diploma and is looking forward to the new challenges and direction Local Solutions is heading in.
Jenny joined Local Solutions in November 2021 in the new role of Head of Business Development.
Jenny began her career in the third sector working for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation in a range of roles from Events Fundraiser to Head of Public Fundraising and Head of Fundraising. The role enabled Jenny to generate vital income and awareness to support patients and families living with lung cancer. Prior to joining Local Solutions Jenny worked for Stick ‘n’ Step as Head of Fundraising and Interim Chief Executive supporting children, young people and families with cerebral palsy.
Hazel has a Diploma in Community Education , a BA Hons is Social Science and Human Geography and a MPA (Masters in Public Administration). She has been with Local Solutions since 1998.
Before coming to Local Solutions Hazel worked with the homeless in Glasgow.
Hazel has always enjoyed working with people. She secured funding to establish Liverpool Carers Centre and set up the innovative Mytime scheme which was recognised at a national level.
As Head of Communities Hazel supports numerous projects within Local Solutions.
In 2021 Hazel was awarded an MBE for her services to carers in Liverpool.
Debbie has a DipSW & BA Hons in Social Care & Community Studies and a background of working with offenders for the Probation service. She has worked supporting homeless people since starting with Local Solutions in 1992. Debbie has been a Senior Manager since 2006. Debbie is also Trustee of Merseyside Youth Association (MYA).
Tom has worked at Local Solutions since 2007 in a variety of roles, combining operations and development. He has designed and developed new programmes to support vulnerable people and secured and delivered grants, contracts and social investments with a track record of innovation and successful implementation.
Prior to taking up his new role as interim CEO, he was Director of Programmes and Innovation, with responsibility for programme development, delivery and innovation across Local Solutions, with a particular focus on support and accommodation. Tom is a graduate of Liverpool John Moores University and holds an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School.
