This week is Trustees’ Week, a time to celebrate and thank the people who guide Local Solutions and help shape our future.
Our Trustees play a vital role in ensuring strong governance, supporting our strategic direction, and helping us stay true to our mission – to empower people and support communities across the Liverpool City Region and North Wales to achieve their potential.
Each Trustee brings their own skills, experience and perspective, helping us strengthen our services and make a real difference to the lives of those we support.
To mark the week, we asked our Trustees why they’re proud to be part of Local Solutions.
“I’m proud to be a Trustee of Local Solutions because we are an innovative, community-focused organisation which has demonstrated impact across the Liverpool City Region and North Wales over more than 50 years.”
– Hazel Snell, Chair
“I’m proud to be a Trustee of Local Solutions because we centre lived experience to tackle inequity and help people across Merseyside and North Wales to thrive. I can pair clinical insight with community voice to strengthen governance, safeguarding and inclusion across our services.”
– Salome Mare-Walsh
“I’m proud to serve as a Trustee at Local Solutions, where our dedicated team is committed to making a real difference by improving lives and providing support to those in need.”
– Karl Clawley
“It allows me to play a role in supporting the incredible people who I have met during my time with Local Solutions, who do all that they can to support communities and empower vulnerable people. I am truly in awe of the working culture that I have observed at Local Solutions, and the way that everyone that I have met speaks so passionately about the work that they do to provide support to those who need it.”
– Elliott Morrison
We’re grateful for the time, care and commitment our Trustees give to Local Solutions. Their leadership helps us keep moving forward, innovate, and continue making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Thank you to all our Trustees for everything you do.
