This year marks two decades of Bullybusters – our dedicated service working with primary schools, young people, and families to tackle bullying and promote kindness across the Liverpool City Region.

To celebrate the milestone, the team appeared live on BBC Radio Merseyside to reflect on the journey so far, the difference the service has made, and why anti-bullying support remains as vital as ever in schools and communities.

In recognition of their incredible work, the team was also invited to attend the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace – a proud and well-deserved moment, honouring 20 years of commitment to children and young people.

Celebrations will continue throughout the year, with school visits, Anti-Bullying Week activity, and new partnerships all helping to champion safer, more inclusive environments where every child feels supported.
